COPA-DATA is the innovation leader in industrial automation software. With knowledge and experience gained from over 80,000 installed systems worldwide, COPA-DATA is setting standards and opening up new scope for efficient automation. Since 1987, we have been developing our HMI/SCADA technology zenon® at our headquarters in Salzburg, Austria. With this software we introduced the first graphic visualization system to run completely under Windows®.

zenon has been automating, controlling and visualizing production processes and allocation of resources in companies for over 20 years. zenon is particularly used in the automotive industry, the energy and infrastructure sectors, the food & beverage industry, at pharmaceutical companies and in mechanical engineering.

The COPA-DATA distribution network includes offices in Austria (for Central and Eastern Europe), France (COPALP), Germany, Italy, Korea, Poland, Portugal, Sweden (for Scandinavia), the UK and the USA, as well as partners in many countries throughout the world.

COPA-DATA currently employs 140 employees and has many internationally successful customers such as the BMW Group, Audi, Festo, Pepsi-Cola, Andritz and Swarovski.
